Followers and new event emails

Participants can follow your organization. When you publish an event, they hear about it by email and in the app.

2 minEveryone in the team

Participants follow you from your organizer page, an event page, or the Kesho app: Follow. From then on, each time you publish a public event, they receive an email in their language and, if they have the app, a notification.

  • When you publish a public event, or a series, or add a date to a series.
  • At most once a day per follower for your organization: publish five events on the same afternoon, and followers get one message.
  • Never for private events.

Followers can unfollow in one click from any of these emails, or from their account.

Your organizer page can show how many people follow you: Show follower count, in Settings › Branding and domain, What your page shows. The count stays hidden until you reach 50 followers, so a new organizer doesn’t look empty.

  • Share your organizer page (<your address>.kesho.eu), not only event links.
  • Print the door poster: participants who get the app follow you in one tap. See The door poster.
  • Everyone who gets a ticket can follow you from their confirmation and their account.
